I visited Kinnaur in Jul this year and what a beautiful place it turned out to be...
Nako at 12000 ft was the high point of the vacation.
Some shots from there.

Beautiful doc saab. I have a similar one like #1 . Fantastic light at #5. Looks like worth visiting this place. Keep Leh Ladakh for the company next year _________________ Get a relatively better gear, add skill, find a better subject - all are important and interdependent.

Himachal Pradesh is rocking SFF.
Some great pictures Doc saab specially 2,3 and 5.
#4 is a good shot but OoF reflections in water are much powering the frame. I am not sure how this situation can be handled better.

Thanks Mohit...
Dont have the gallery anywhere but I do have the images in a travelogue on bcmtouring.com
heres the link..
http://www.bcmtouring.com/forum/travelogues-north-india-f61/sarahan-sangla-nako-others-vs-doctors-family-t12566/
Not all the images are good photographically but more as a documentation of the journey.
I quite enjoy writing travelogues.

I really enjoy reading travelogues. Read the entire 16 pages at one go. Waiting for the next part which i guess is going to be nakko. Very interesting and humorous narration. Wonderful pictures of divine land. Sad about your (telephone's) cable fault and congratulations for getting 'www back on your laptop.' after 10 days. May be time to get some wireless broadband now (reliance netconnect + or tata photon plus etc). I shall soon sign up for that forum. Nice one!!

.
Hello Doc.
Those are all gorgeous images and excellent compositions. Great pictures to treasure and share. I'm so glad you did. I'm sorry I am just now noticing them.
I like the pathway, number two, a lot. The blue flowers, the trail winding towards the village and towards the magnificent mountains.
Number four seems so inviting and peaceful. Makes me want to go there, meet those people, and find out what's important to them.
Number three is fascinating in that I want to know all about those carved stones which so beautifully define the foreground.
Number five has a special moody quality which is fascinating to me.
Number one is a beautiful natural lighting effect, how it was that the sunlight played across the mountain peaks when you were there.
Yes, I like them all very much.
Happy day.

Isn't it amazing how all those wee little dots get together and make us believe we are seeing actual stuff?! |
